LEAU started with a simple moment between friends and has evolved rather organically since inception. - like it was our calling.

Kiara and Nicole were snowboarding in LAAX one day when the conversation turned to something surprisingly simple: sparkling water. After moving from Vancouver, Kiara couldn’t find a single carbonated water in Switzerland that wasn’t overly sweet or artificially flavored. That small frustration sparked a big idea — maybe what was missing was a lighter, more elevated kind of sparkling water.

That conversation was the beginning of LEAU. What started as a casual idea turned into a shared vision — to create an infused Swiss sparkling water that still feels like water. Light, refreshing, and natural. Something that makes hydration feel less like a chore and more like a small ritual.

Kiara Schwartz, co-founder, is a multidisciplinary creative working across photography, brand building, and visual design. “I never imagined sparkling water would be what I’d create,” she says. “But the moment I spoke the idea out loud, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Nicole and I naturally share a clear vision of what we’re building.”

Nicole Weber, co-founder, is a graphic designer, website and product engineer with a background in operations and sales. “When Kiara shared the idea, my first thought was how naturally our skills fit together. Together, our experiences amplify each other. We’re open-minded, bouncing ideas back and forth, shaping a vision we couldn’t have achieved alone. LEAU has become more than a project — it’s a space where our skills and experiences come together to create something special.”
